About Ms.
Cooper

Ms. Cooper is a teacher librarian at BHES.

As a teacher librarian, she tackles both responsibilities of taking care of our library and learning commons as well as teaching some classes in our younger grades.

Her motivation to become a teacher was inspired by the impactful role a teacher played in her child's life when her child faced a learning disability. Witnessing the positive influence of that teacher sparked a profound inspiration within Ms. Cooper, compelling her to become an advocate for children with learning disabilities.

Nine years into her teaching career, Ms. Cooper took on the role of a teacher librarian, driven by her newfound love for books and a desire to share that passion with others. She also loves the library because its beauty extends far beyond books; it provides opportunities to have interactions with the entire school community, encompassing teachers, staff, and students from kindergarten to eighth grade.

When we asked what advice she would give to aspiring librarians, Ms. Cooper wholeheartedly encouraged the role, describing it as incredibly rewarding and an excellent opportunity to engage with every facet of school life.
